No. Nobody recorded people who lived in the 1800s. We choose a voice to match their age, region and era, so it's a reconstruction of how someone like them would have sounded.
That's enough. Census records, trades and local history fill in the rest, and we mark which parts are imagined.
Yes. It's yours to keep and post. If you share it on TikTok, tag @ancestalk and we might feature it.
We only use what you send to make your clip. We delete photos and details 30 days after delivery, and we never use information about living relatives.
